National Night Out
"America's Night Out Against Crime"

National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and co-sponsored locally by the Huntington Park Police Department for the 12^th straight year, will involve over 11,000 communities from all 50 states.  For the past six consecutive years, the Huntington Park Police Department has received recognition from NATW for its outstanding participation in "America's Night Out Against Crime."  This could not have been accomplished without the active participation of our residents.

The purpose of the event is to accentuate the importance of police-community partnership; heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; increase public safety; strengthen neighborhood spirit and to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Residents in neighborhoods throughout Huntington Park are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening with us.

The Huntington Park Police Department invites you to give crime and drugs a going away party on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Robert H. Keller Memorial Park located at 6550 Miles Avenue, Huntington Park, CA 90255.
